I'll be replying back to your Messenger again tonight, @Fane Mordagnir , especially about the Rangers. I'm hoping Termon will help Khallador and the Dunedain from Osdolen. I'll share the plot Cassie and I constructed with you :headbang: .

@Fane Mordagnir sounds good I can have Fuin speak with you after your post greeting you especially since we've already discussed ic about you returning to the forge. And a bow sounds fantastic

@Fuin Elda cool - I’ll post this morning and await your inspection!

Hi @Rillewen, I’ve just read your OP for the forsaken inn and was just in the process of fleshing something out based on my most recent post here: https://www.lotrfanaticsplaza.com/forum ... 964#p48964 to develop it as a bit of a place for rangers and vagabonds and a place to start mini ranger missions. Don’t want to rain on your parade I just was fleshing stuff out and seeing if there would be a market for it once I had done.

Hi @Fane Mordagnir I hadn't read your post, sorry!
I've actually been meaning to post a Forsaken Inn thread for weeks now, I wish I'd managed to do it earlier, now, so you could've posted there. I'm totally fine with changing some stuff, if need be. I didn't think anyone had any F.I. characters so I just made them NPCs, except for my girl Bel who works there as a waitress/maid.
We could add your barkeep who used to be a ranger into the list of staff, Bel would probably like him, he'd be like a grandfather figure to her :D
So far I've always imagined the npc innkeeper guy as disliking rangers and not trusting them, like barliman did, lol.

@Rillewen yeah that’s fine I’d be more than happy to work on this one together if you are? If so would you mind if I sent you some text describing the inn as I had in my post and expanding the secret passage area? We could maybe dual DM the thread?

I want to play it that he does seem like that among the “regular” patrons of the bar but has this secret life as an agent for the Rangers and feed them information and make it like a secret waystation for them.

A secret passage? 😃 that'd be totally fine! Are you on discord? I find it much easier to plot and discuss stuff there. I have a few more ideas now 😁

@Fane Mordagnir Sorry for the bit of a delay on the Tingdain feel free to finish up the cutlery then I think it's time for you to officially get your Smiths Ring!

@Ercassie Feel free to post whenever you can - I honestly am not worried about perfect continuity but I did leave you in the storage room as you'd suggested gathering the items you needed for your part of the work!

@Tharmáras Hey, I hope you're fine. I posted as Thranduil's son in the Last Homely House thread. Would be glad if you would post as Erestor soon, no pressure though :)

On the fortieth anniversary of her ignorant husband’s ignominious death, Zôrzimril Nûlukhô is throwing a party. And it’s not just any party. For the fortieth anniversary she’s putting together something special. Fascinated by a short story she found tucked away in Umbar’s Grand Library, she’s decided to model her home after the story’s castle. Seven room, seven colors, seven meanings. Cand the patrons of the masquerade find them before the night is up and Darkness, Decay, and the Red Death hold illimitable dominion over all?

Come and join in the revelry!

Thankyou @Raisins. I didn’t quite finish my post yesterday because I got carried away plotting with a writing partner. As of course happens. :googly: :embarrassed: But, as you mentioned, we’d already arranged our alibi and it is easy to still work things if a little bit out of time/order.

Erfaron should totally start paying Fuin rent for how much time he’s lurking in her storerooms !

Hahaha @Ercassie perhaps in the future Fuin will have to make a quip asking him if he's set up a cot in there and if he needs any other furnishings

Oh, no worries @Rillewen ! Glad to have ya  I'll be posting an update to the thread here either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. Plan to get this outlaw debacle handled before moving forward and will probably begin preparation for heading to the Forsaken Inn (as I see that it's been recently reopened under new management :headbang: ).

sounds awesome! Maybe Daed can accompany you there :)
I'm still waiting on Fane to post the arrival of the new owner, but if nothing else, Bel is there and can help guests as they arrive :D

@Ercassie With the Tingdain - if you want to actually get to carving and shaping on your own you're welcome to do that in your next post you don't need me to do it first but feel free to do what you are comfortable with and I'll work from there.

@Raisins  I’m not sure if she really stole that helm mithril or she’s just trying to put him at ease but that was brilliant.

As far as proceeding goes, I’m happy with a little bit of ‘you do, I do’. So Fuin has showed him how to measure supplies, and he has. She’s just shown him how to shape the wood, so I’ll get onto that next. And we’ll find out if he’s anticipated the right size/how he copes with that.

We can go onto the metallic design part after then, in due course, which should allow for you to go and come between Erfaron and Fane as you need. If that sounds agreeable to you ?

@Ercassie sounds fantastic to me and honestly on the helm? Did she? Didn't she? We'll never know - well we might eventually one way or the other but its certainly fun either way.

My bet is that she did  And speaking of bets I think you two should have an IC wager on how long will it take Aig to bring Fuin that delicious pie that keeps being mentioned

@Rune Eisahn I have an idea, if you're interested!
I figured on having Daed travel along with you to the forsaken inn.
I have another guy who's wounded and soon to be in danger, and he's not far from the forsaken inn. I figure eventually he'll need someone to rescue him; what if Daed and Rune were the rescuers, and then bring him back to the forsaken inn when they go?

@Rune Eisahn and @Rillewen Yus. I am excited for this if Rune is down! Should be fantastically fun. LOL all she'd have to do is one good hard hit to your one characters head and then it would at least only be a two on one instead of a three on one. hehe

LOL @Raisins , I don't think you'd have to worry much about Gladhron in that fight. He can barely stand :googly:

@Rillewen @Rune Eisahn @Raisins if you don't mind me crashing in like a medieval party crasher from Baghdad  do you folks need or would mind if an healer with a horse and mule joins you and offers his services? Perhaps on the road or in the Forsaken Inn? If you'd have this turtle I'd love to join. If not that's fine too, the offer officially stands whenever you have need of it etc :winkkiss:

Lol you're not crashing the party. I don't mind either way, really, if you want to join :D Might be a bit of a large group by the time we reach the F.I.! If you'd like, you could stick a healer in at the inn now, to give bel someone to chat with. :D

I mean I'm all fine for it @Nessa Saelind though I have to admit that you might not be crashing until after Umoya is out of the woods (or if you want to run into her though she's not going to the Forsaken Inn I don't think at this point. So I suppose it's not really up to me - though if you want to meet up with Umoya after she's fled I am also fine with that.

If you’re a healer at the inn, could be useful to check on Gwestion’s hurt leg there too @Nessa Saelind . I mean, I know Gwandhyra came back with Bel to take a look at mending it. But well, .. Gwandhyra is Nal’s uncle. Far more experienced of course, in the field etc, but who knows that an expert opinion wouldn’t be a good idea. Just in case.

First of all, let me say they are far too many men whose names begin with the letter G :googly: and I am getting confused :googly:

Second of all

😱 😱 😱 @Rillewen I fear your ranger is doomed. Doomed I say! Best I get my physician to that inn before gangrene sets in! Just kidding...
