Dear all

Looking at this lovely table above me I realise that the schedule for the award announcement has been really fast, especially this week! We wanted to announce the winners as quickly as we could and give our presenters time to write their post. I realise that all of us have other obligations (RL + Plaza ones) and that sometimes you just don't have the time/energy/brainpower to write a post. :grouphug:

And that's totally fine, please don't stress or worry. Take as much time as you need to write something you are happy with. Just in case you can't make your post by the time all the awards are presented and given out no worries. In my last post (and it will be stressed in the next GM announcement when it comes) we placed a display cabinet with the awards. So you if you couldn't write your post in time, or if you're kind of awkward about writing a thank you to everyone for this award post you can still get your award at your own time/pace.

I hope this makes sense :googly: OK maybe like this: Display cabinet with the announced but unclaimed ARPY awards is located in the Hall of Fire! Better? Yes? No? Maybe? Go home?

@Winddancer well the statuettes are kind of clunky  so unless they want to recreate that Conan sneaking into the castle in Red Sonja (methinks) where every metal object is clonking  I think the statuettes are safe  I hope

Everyone: Please can we keep the sexual allusions/content/jokes to a minimum please, we know it’s all in good fun but not everyone is comfortable with it and we want it to be a good party for everybody! Please be mindful and if you’re not sure, check in with us first. Thank you, love you all.

Because of RL work schedules some dates and presenters for the last 4 awards have been shifted. Here's the update for the last 4 ARPY categories that need to be presented and their presenters. I've also edited the table in my first post on this page for reference.

Category Date Presenter
Best RP-er 05.06.2021. Fuin
Best Small Collaboration 07.06.2021. Tharmáras
Best Game 10.06.2021. Nessa as Pippin
Best RPG 11.06.2021. Fuin

P.S. I'd apologise for all the Eurovision content  in my presentation posts but you know me by now!

I'm working Sunday the 6th of June but I don't have a shift on Monday the 7th. May I present Small Collab on that day, @Nessa Saelind ? I don't have anything planned that morning or afternoon so I'll get it posted before the evening. I hope you don't mind the twenty-four hour delay or editing the table.

@Tharmáras maybe the date format threw you off (the date format is DD.MM.YYYY. just how we rude Continental Europeans prefer to confuse poor souls with our (metric) systems :mwahaha:  ). If you look up at the abbreviated version of the table and the long one on this page you'll see in the collum for dates that the award presentation for Best Small Collaboration is set to take place on 07.06.2021. aka June 7th 2021 for all my American friends. :winkkiss: Just like we discussed over Discord. :smooch: Sorry if the date format caused confusion, I forgot to state that the dates are written as DD.MM.YYYY. like I did when I first posted the table.

No problem @Tharmáras :smooch: If there's ever anything that is unclear or you're unsure about or you have any questions, comments or concerns please feel free to ask here or DM me at Discord (my DMs are always open, it's a 24/7 circus there  lies, lies! It's crickets! ).

The same goes for anyone else: questions, comments or concerns ask here or on Discord. My inbox is like a saloon: doors are always open! (Thank you, y'all don't need to drag my arse out, I can find my own way to the door  )

Quick question, what is the thread policy for double posting? I accidently have a million characters going and I don't want to leave one of them behind

Looking back at the thread rules we didn't specify anything regarding posting rules e.g. to wait for X amount of people or Y amount time before posting again.

Since we didn't explicitly state any limit before posting again and since it's not interfering with any announcement at the moment (and you did bring the whole cast and crew to the party  ) as 1/3 of this circus Triumvirate, with the powers invested in me by the power of the TR I hereby declare that yes, double posting is allowed.

Long story short double posts are OK, @Prometherion you may post.

Like I told @Nessa Saelind this earlier this afternoon, I'll need until Thursday. I wrote enough today but still not done. Got a shift tomorrow but have nothing planned for Wednesday and Thursday.

So Small Collab and SPOILER King Elessar singing and dancing with little Prince Eldarion END SPOILER has to wait a little while longer. For the next five hours I'm going to ARPYS write SPOILER Aigronding, his wife, and daughters watching Animals of Arda documentary about the Mearas of Rohan, narrrated by Andy Serkis, on his widescreen TV before attending the ceremony END SPOILER and, uh, other crazy stuff happening in what is shaping up to be my Best Dumb Post Ever.

Edit: Uhhhh....Delivering Small Collab before midnight but insane stuff will come Thursday :googly: .

Edit: I posted exactly at midnight my time and I'm rather proud of this :encore:

Omg, all the Hs, @Fuin Elda , I love it 🤣🤣🤣. Thinking I'm going to make a "Hatholdir Hiding from Fuin" #ARPY21 meme soon when I'm not falling asleep 🤣. He'll be appearing soon, either in my next outlandish post or the one following that 🤣.

Yeah, Hrango is a good guy. Like Lenny from Of Mice and Men 🤣. *Note to self, call the Mighty Hrango "Hatholdir's Herald" in RPs*

Quick question for the lovely TRs: once the presentation of the awards have been completed, will there be time for dancing and thievery drinking and general partying?

@Tharmáras - I have no memory of Cave Trolls on the invite list

@Goosil - Please, hold caller! We haven't even got to the drunk and disorderly part of the party yet!

Speaking of drink and disorder, I have to thank @Tarawen for giving me a perfect opening so Pippin and Merry (with @Lailyn approval) can swing by the young hobbits and offer their very sage life advice about mushrooms  So that's coming tomorrow before I present the award for Best Game.

It's not a Cave Troll...It's larger...and I'm almost done with the post. This Minion drinks coffee. He will not spit out his coffee though so hopefully he will have your approval, @Nessa Saelind .

@Tarawen a gathering of hobbits sounds awesome and I foresee a very sage discussion about which pipe-weed is the bestest: Longbottom Leaf, Old Toby, or Southern Star before the hobbits take over the dance floor aka jump on the table and do a rendition of The Fine Brew of the Green Dragon scene.

@Tharmáras anyone not blaspheming by spitting coffee is good in my book
