When I read the Unfinished Tales, I found it ironic that Faramir, second son of Ondoher, did the same thing Eowyn did, except die. Then Eowyn and a different Faramir ended up getting married.

Night and night - referring to the two nights in which Pippin looked in the stone and Aragorn used the stone after breaking it from Sauron's domination
show fright and fright - Pippin, obviously, but the second "fright" would be the Paths of the Dead which Aragorn's viewings determined him to pursue
