I'm overjoyed it's the Ospiel part, @Ercassie , and I appreciatethe time you stayed up late finishing it! I'll read it on my work break! I'll have Hatholdir respond and we can do a few hours time warp crossing the mountains in the morning and beginning to cross the Beorning lands where something bad is happening, tying a thread to War of the White Gem .

@Rillewen , I have Larks on the Plaza, too, Khallador Galerida who you've always known and Rinon Lirulin in Gondor. Khallador's family surname is the Taliskan language of the Edain and Rinon's family Sindarinized their surname but Lark was Westronized in Eriador. So same family (my last name in RL translates to Lark in Latin so that's why I used the genus of birds larks are in and Lirulin is elvish for lark). Peter could be their cousin in Bree? I'll add him to the Hill Watch and make a roster tonight in Archives though it'll be short because it's only me (Anne and Vincent Snapdragon, and Miles Brackenbrook the Sheriff from old Plaza NPCs), you, Moriel, and @Annúnfalas but hopefully we can get @Ercassie into bringing back Clayton Dogwood. We just have missions of our own in Free RPs and patrolling Bree threads until now but I can bring back the Constublary thread on my next day off on Monday

@Tharmáras oh, i didn't know. Actually Peter isn't fron around Bree, i think his mom probably adopted the name when they moved to the area when he was a child, so i could either change it..i started to go with Larkson? Or he could just maybe be an imposter lol

I have a bio for Anne and Vincent in the Rivendell-Bree submission thread but I need to edit it tonight to show different pictures - going back to Kacey Rohl for Anne which I showed in the Market thread and Scott Eastwood as Vincent; I'll have the Westworld pics shown for other characters at some point. Need to remark Vincent's evil ex is one of Annúnfalas' characters, Hazel, which we discuss a few days ago on Discord private chat, too. Otherwise it's fine to read now, lol.

So I am sent @Sur Vanar Utírieste a message on discord in regards to holding a masquerade/ball a few days ago now.

I would like to state that at this point I do have intentions of running a Masquerade in the near future as Sur has stated that she does not have time for this, I do want to make my intentions public on here as well so that people can somewhat prepare/get excited as well for another Masquerade.

So in 2 weeks time if I have not heard back from Sur I will be moving ahead in planning and announcing what will be happening with the next Masquerade as personally I had a lot of fun at the first one and I think it's been long enough that it would be nice to have another one.

I apologize for not getting back to you sooner @Fuin Elda! Work has been hard and responsibilities have been demanding. I am catching up on some long overdue self-care, mostly trying to get back into my pre-quarantine California beach body shape , which I'm pleased to say is *almost* within my grasp , and focusing on the loving relationship I have with my long-distance partner.

I have had to shut off my Discord notifications entirely to focus on all these things without interruption and I prefer to respond to any messages regarding the Plaza with the appropriate time and energy I feel is needed to address them.

That said, I'm pleased to know that masquerade parties on the Plaza will continue. While I did intend to host the "Rivendell Masquerade: Summer Carnival" and "Masque of Death: Winter Slaughter" in Mordor at one point in the future, I have chosen to run these threads outside of the Plaza on another forum when personal time permits.

You asked me on Discord if you can model your own OP after mine and give me credit for the idea but I as I shared in my response there to you, when I came up with the OP for the Lindon Masquerade, I put my heart and soul into it, and I would like for my original creative content to remain just that - my own.

If you and several other roleplayers wish to host a masquerade ball, I'm sure that working creatively together you can all come up with something that is yours and unique and wonderful in its own way.

P.S. If you can also refrain from using the menu I came up for the Rivendell Masquerade months ago (the one I shared with you and Tharmáras on Discord if you recall), that would be great. I am going to need that one day you see.

Ahhh no worries @Sur Vanar Utírieste I have to admit when I said modeled after yours I had every intention of creating new themes/menus as I will admit I saved nothing at all from that particular discord server as I did not need to(and only vaguely remember the menu etc) So your Rivendel Summer Carnival and the menu for it is safely all yours and you never got to the Mordor one so definitely safe there.

And congrats on the California beach body recovery! I've been working on that as well though mine is sadly much further away due to it not being Covid alone that got me out of shape.

Hi all,

As soon as I said I wasn’t sure how much RPing I would be involved in I got the ache to write and once more delve into Fane so I’ve updated his bio to more accurately represent his past although it is based off of his old bio from yea olde plaza.

I’ve also just posted in the Rivendell open RP thread and would encourage and be keen for anyone to get involved if they would like at the point that I’ve left it with Fane wandering the valley.

I would like to note that in the 10ish years since I’ve left i realise that from what I’ve read in the archives I really hammed up Fane in the past and really made him a bit of a drama queen so I’m hopeful that I’ve changed and Fane has changed too so if he seems a little different and a bit more mature I’ll be happy with that change!

I'll have Aigronding and his family interacting with him soon in the Valley of Rivendell Free RP (we can do a private storyline there for us)!! Hopefully we can start you writing for Ost-Halatir as well. I'll reply to you on Facebook Messenger on my hour work break tonight so we can start plotting and catching up! I would like to invite you to the Ages of Arda RPG. It's the Bragollacch War Era and Turgon is about to send out scouts outside the walls to determine how close the flames are and keep Orcs away (alluding to Tolkien mentioning the soldiers of Gondolin fought "in the hills" in The Hobbit).

I've mentioned the pie incident in my post lol and will be writing for Last Homely House thread update next and finishing my Gondolin update in AoA; I already have Turgon seated at council armored in another tab.

@Fuin Elda I’m really keen to dive straight into posting in the Tingdain and set it after the culmination of the conversation ongoing in the Rivendell free RP. So much so that I’ve already written a post of Fane making the bow that is needed for the market. I know you’re busy training an apprentice and I’m more than happy just to get going (I’ve owned many a bow and generally know how they’re made so and confident in what I’ve written).

So as long as your happy I was just going to get Fane going and picking it out without having to interrupt you, do the whole thing in one mammoth post and then flag Fuin over to inspect the work once it’s done? Like I say the post is already written so if you want to see it first I’m more than happy for that too!
