Just here to report that I've read this and it was magical!
I loved how you managed to adapt the song from the musical (although I haven't listened/watched Hadestown, but just reading the lyrics it all fit the story you were trying to tell and it was magical! - Points: 2 262

You are magical, for keeping up with all these stories!! Highly recommend listening to Hadestown when you have the time (just get the album and listen straight through - Original Broadway Cast, there's a version or two before that!), apart from being a huge inspiration it's just an absolutely fantastic musical and a true work of art from Anaïs Mitchell (and everyone else who worked on it).Ok Gelvari fans, I lied... it's going to be six parts
