War Of The Dwarves And The Orcs - Early Morning Scrimmage

And of old it was not darksome, but full of light and splendour, as is still remembered in our songs.

She had no sympathy for this orc none at all. she hopped out of the way of the boot as it thrashed and struggled to cling to life. It would be easier if it just gave up but then again who would just want to lay down and die to a crow? Not to many things, but crows were tenatious and she kept working at him hopping back the boot hitting the ground somewhere behind her as she pecked at the creatures legs once more.

Nothing hurt the orc anymore. Sog's body was numb, and he was cut and bruised. But he was tenacious. And he was still hungry. The bird could peck at him until he died, but he would not give up until she did. Searching once more for something to throw, he took off a cord that hung around the dead orc's neck. There were different size teeth on the rope with holes drilled into them so the teeth could hang. It may have had sentimental value to his fallen comrade, but it was just a weapon to Sog. He threw it.

The bird was clearly single-minded, though Kali had no doubts that focus would soon change. The orc seemed to weakening now, the attacks against it relentless. Drawing her axe from her side she moved in closer and hoping to take advantage of the crebains distraction with the orc, swung the axe blade towards its body.

There were two of them once again fighting her eventually the orc would fall which would mean that she would be having to fight even harder to do what they were doing together. It was fine Rhafna was a tough bird and she wasn't going to give up when it came to these nasty two fools. She'd kill one of them and then... Then she would get her revenge on the next

He threw another boot. Then he took a handful of dirty mud and threw that too. He was not going to give up just yet. He would instead be killed by one of those pesky beardlings than be pecked to death by a bloody bird. He was getting excited and looked around for more objects to fling at the fowl. His stomach growled hungrily.

The swing had little effect, but Kali had no doubt this would be a long fight, the bird obviously born under a lucky star as it seemed to only grow in power as it moved through the battlefield. Re-settling her grip, Kali eyes the crebains movements, trying to predict how it moved. This time swinging the blade from the side, she hoped to at least clip its wing.

More attacks it was frustrating but she wasn't about to suffer these fools any longer than she had to. Indeed she kept pecking and picking at the orc. It shouldn't have attacked her in the first place if it didn't want to die so ignoble a death as at the hands of a crow.

He found a blunted knife on the dead orc, and it was cumbersome. He hoped that the bird would fly low enough so that he could get a good shot at it. There were still plenty of things lying around that he could throw at the creature. He had a good arsenal. It was, after all, a bird.

She was still working on the orc. Eventually he would run out of things to throw and then he would be dead. Dead by crow. It was better than he deserved Rhafna thought cruelly and pecked at him again her beak finding a bit of bare flesh to tear at.

It was a painful process but Kali was determined to stand her ground and avenge the awful killing of this foul creature. Little hope she had for herself in the battle, but she would do all she could to keep the bird from killing another dwarf. Even though the axe blows were producing less damage than she'd like, she was having more success than with the bow.

Again the orc struggled and again she did her best to make sure he paid for his sins in attacking her. She twisted her beak in his leg tearing flesh violently as she twisted her head looking to do even more damage until he just gave up and died

He took off the dead orc pants that appeared to be made by some foul animal skin. They were pretty heavy, and the orc had to use all the might in his arms to throw it high enough at the foul fowl. He prayed that it would do some damage.

The orc was standing his ground, but he couldn't last forever and Kali needed to use the time to her advantage as much as she could. The bird was so drenched with blood, though she wasn't convinced it was actually the crebains, it was hard to tell where she could take advantage of an injury, but reasoning the wings must be a prime target she aimed the next blow there.

The dwarf attacked her again, but the orc was now showing more wear and soon it would be dead the orc of course kept thrashing but he would fail sooner or later, his strength was already failing which meant that he would bleed out sooner or later her eye turning to the dwarf for a moment

Now there was a thick shirt of animal fur that he stripped from the body. It was stinky and heavy; he hoped it would knock the bird out of the sky and kill it. He was starving. He wanted meat. Even blackbird meat. God help him, he was so hungry.

Another joint attack between the two . Hardly a fare fight but it was never to be expected that a fight would be fair in war. No indeed one never wanted a fair fight as she pecked viciously at the orc once more hoping to score more damage on the beast

Feathers at least were being ruffled, and hopeful damaged enough to affect the foul creatures movements. Kali was amazed she was making any contact with such a small target, given she was more used to hewing rocks, but the blood-lust and anger running in her veins kept her focused on the crebain.

The fight was vicious indeed and the Crebain had no plans on letting up her attempt to end the offending orcs life. She pecked and twisted and squawked angrily at it. Hoping to continue the task of killing the orc.

Sog screamed at the bird and wept out loud. He was running out of things to throw. He was starving. He didn't have enough energy to fight anymore. Then he saw a crack of sunlight far off, and he decided he didn't want to die. He threw the dead orcs foul undergarments at the bird. What could stop this fiend of a bird?

Her arms were tiring as she swung and swung again, but Kali would never give up trying to avenge the deaths this bird had caused. The battle raged around them, but they seemed locked in their own private battle until one of them fell. Raising her arms, she swung the blade once more.

Indeed slowly the orc was getting weaker and weaker and already she was seeing that he was going to fail. He was going to die and she was going to be the cause of it. She wanted him dead as he flapped her wings right in his face even as he struggled further.

There was a dwarf nearby that was getting the best of the bird. It never seems to be enough, though. It was a bird from the dark lands for sure. Grabbing a stick that lay by the body, Sog flung it with all his might.

More fighting it was obvious thought that something was going to have to give sooner or later and Rhafna knew full well that it wasn't going to be her. She had not gotten as tough as she was without suffering and fighting for a very very long time.

Kali had been prepared for some strange sights in the heat of battle, but seeing ... undergarments? of an orc no less? Well she thought she would never forget such a sight. blinking rapidly she decided to focus back o what made sense - killing the bird!

The dwarf was doing a good job on the bird. It was getting weaker. Sog only wished that he could type faster and took those lessons when they were offered to him in Mordor. Oh well, he picked up another boot and threw it.

She was violence she was death and this creature was going to suffer if it was the last thing it did. It was suffering eventually it would die and bits and pieces of whatever it kept trying to attack her with would go down in history as the wierdest battle ever.

She knew she felt weary, but Kali also felt strength filling her as she battled on. The crebain was undoubtedly an evil creature filled with the power of darkness, and she could not allow it to prevail. Hewing it again, she really hoped at some point she could hack off its wing and grind its body into the dirt.

The violence was faster and faster where it kept finding boots Rhafna did not know but the orc kept finding them and kept attempting to throw them at her with little to no effect. Not that it mattered as the Orc was getting weaker and weaker. Soon. yes soon.

Almost Sog was getting so close Rhafna could sense it he was so close to dying and Rhafna was happy. Even if she was hurting from the horrible dwarf that kept attacking her. She would soon have one less foe on the battle field. So so very soon

He was so weak no that all he could do was spit at the bird. So spit he did. Over and over again. But the spit just kept falling on his own face and he wasn't sure if he was hitting the bird or not. At least the spit was cooling down his fevered face.

The orc was getting so close and soon she would have her revenge. Utter and complete upon the foul creature. Not that she wasn't a foul creature herself she just wasn't particularly evil. She was just vengeful especially when someone damaged her feathers

He spits and spits until there was no spit left in his mouth. And then with a great effort, he took off his own boot and threw it at the bird. Then he took off his other boot and threw it. Then he took a handful of mud and threw that too.

The orc was still struggling. As was a dying creatures want. Of course it didn't make much different Rhafna croaked telling the creature that it should just slip into sweet sweet oblivion and die. That was its lot in this life anyways quit fighting it.

He had no spit left. Where was the dwarf with the bow? He loved that dwarf now. But he hated dwarves. His mind was all muddled. He was dying. Taking off his pants, he threw them at the bird. But really, what did it matter. The bird never faltered.

She pecked at his hand as he kept trying to throw mud at her wanting to no longer be covered in mud by this nasty beast. Not that mud was particularly dangerous to her she would flap her wings and get rid of it and be good to go attacking her next victim if this orc would just. DIE

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? Sog didn't know the answer to this question. But there was a piece of an old tree lying by the fallen orc. He crawled towards it, dragging his legs. Picking it up, he threw it at the bird. But the chance was that it would fall back down on his head.

The dwarf seemed to be out of the picture which meant that for now they were at a stalemate eventually the creature would be back she was sure. After all the dwarf was almost as cruel as the orc. the difference was that it smelt a little better and had more hair.

Saved from the fallen stick, Sog found a rock. He picked it up, but he was fragile. If the darted bird would fly low enough, he might be able to hit it. But the sun was shining in his eyes now, and he blinked back tears of fear. He was going to die. And he was going to die with an empty, growling stomach.

Rhafna hopped after the crawling orc pecking at it while it went to get some wood to try to throw at her. She hopped out of the way the most recent projectile and lecked at the creatures legs to try to get the beast to bleed out.

He threw the rock and found another and threw it too. He wasn't even aiming anymore, just throwing into the air. He hoped that he would forgive for all the foul things Sog had done in his life when he died. He was an orc, after all, and was supposed to do bad things. But in the end, like this, he regretted it.

The orc absolutely deserved to die with an empty grumbling stomach. It was something that Rhafna would not be doing, after all she'd had several prize morsels of dwarf orc and eagle over the last while. She had every intention of eating a bit of this orc too as she pecked a bit at his leg.

The dead orc lay naked beside Sog. He coincidentally was almost naked himself, having thrown most of his garments at the bird. All he had on was his dirty breeches. He found another rock and threw it at the cruel bird.

Kali wasn't sure what had happened, or what she'd missed, but as she readied her next blow she was slightly appalled to find that the orc was nearly naked, and the dead orc had already been stripped. As much to distract her mind from the spectacle, she swung her axe at the evil bird.

Dog cried with joy when he saw the dwarf again. Then he slapped his face and bit his clawed hand. He bit it hard. What had he been thinking, happy to see a dwarf? He picked up a rock and threw it at the bird. It was all that creature's fault that he suddenly liked beardlings.

The orc was ... not a pleasant sight but Kali was glad for the distraction it caused as she tried to bring down the evil bird. There would be time to deal with the orc later if she could win. Hopeful that if the orc could just hang on a little longer they would be able to finish this battle, Kali once again swung at the birds wing.

He saw a worm in the dirt and picked it up and ate it. He had to keep his strength up. Digging around for more rocks and pieces of wood, he found an old arrowhead. Indeed if he hit the bird with it, it would hurt.

Kali laughed as she hewed at the bird, glad that for the moment it seemed stunned under their joint attack. Knowing she needed to make as much advantage of this s she could, Kali swung the flat of her blade at the evil creature hoping to keep it stunned whilst they injured it.

Sog was glad he kept his hairy britches on. The bird was finally getting what it deserved. And if he had a chance to slip away in naught but his orc skin. Gobbling up two more worms, he picked up a rick and hurled it at the bird.
