@Dimcairien Luiniel Let's say...Zaram makes it through the Imladris maze. And let's say... Zaram happens to pilfer the treasure of one Aerlinn Mordagnir? Might Aerlinn turn up in the Black Market demanding its return (and compensation for related travel and suffering in the form of chocolate)? Details of disguise forthcoming, if agreeable. :smiley8:

@Aerlinn I'm agreeable with that. What sorts of treasures does this Aerlinn Mordagnir possess? And chocolate could be a considered form of payment. It is a Black Land treat after all.

Hello, hello! I used to participate in the rebel-RPG we had in the old Mordor forum as the chief rebel; but my main Mordor character was a Black Númenórean trained by @Sil and later commanded a bit by @Moriel... I'm thinking of joining the Black Host again ;)

Yeeeessss join ussss!! Windy created a free-RP style Black Host that we're using right now, so you'll see a lot of similarities to when you were in it before, but you also don't need to follow a strict routine of being trained by someone!

@Moriel Suppose I bring an assassin from Angmar (one of the minions of Jadis) to train in Mordor. Where would you propose to begin? Also, I'm looking for some Black Host soldier to train him, though I can't guarantee he'll still be breathing by the end of it. :smiley10:

Just jump into the Black Host thread and get started :D If you actually want to be trained by someone and not do it yourself, you can ask for someone here and if no one speaks up, I will pop in and do it :)

Hello all. I used to go by Bashrasha here years ago. I'll be posting in the Black Host thread with a conscript character soonish. I used to be in the Morannon Garrison before I joined my RL brother in Minas Morgul.
Do any of you remember the Mordor breeding grounds? I seem to remember I had a job there training wargs or something.
It looks like a bunch of you have put some extremely hard work into this place. It looks great!
Best,
Lokktar

Welcome back, @Lokktar Ogar! Are you going by Bashrasha still, or Lokktar? I remember the breeding grounds for sure. They don't exist on this nu plaza as of yet, but there is a stall in the Black Market for Monstrous Beasts that is unclaimed, if that interests you! @Thalionwen is the one to poke if so. Has anyone mentioned the plaza discord server to you yet? If you'd like to join us I can get you an invite link :smiley8:

*slides on in* Well hello
@Lokktar Ogar, and welcome back to Mordor. Do not let my equine avatar fool you--I too shall be joining the ranks of the minions shortly (it is quite literally a long story at this point) and we do indeed have a shop in the Black Market that might be right up your alley. Let me know if you're interested, but no pressure

@Glitterati_Goblin Then we definitely want you, so that we might revel in the glory of your bloody demise.
Also very excited that you bear a Rohirric icon (for now). And the contingent of not-so-secret, undercover in every way but actually being subtle Minions pretending to be Rohir grows.

I am as persistent and insidious as the frost, I will find the tiniest cracks and nestle in, expanding and breaking apart your will until the horse icon you hide behind is shattered and broken, revealing the eye beneath.

The eye which is that of a flaming horse. Not a *burning to death* horse mind you, but a horse made of fire. There will *always* be a horse.

Hmmm, it’d have to have red eyes AND a flaming mane to tempt me. Then it would be VERY hard to resist.
Also good job @Taethowen!

@Aerlinn so in regards to Zarâm pilfering things after her successful attempt at the Imladris Maze, what does the Mordagnir crest look like?

Have you seen any amazing role-play and want to applaud the genius behind it and point at it for everyone to see and say 'wow, have you seen that? Look at that, isn't it great?
Have you recently been impressed with someone's amazing knowledge of lore and the speed in which they respond to queries and are wondering if somehow they are cheating and actually their like a walking encyclopedia like Data off Start Trek, but Tolkien-based?
Are you quietly a little intimated by someone's cunning riddle skills but you want to let them know its ok, you still love them, you're struggling to keep up but are actually really glad they have found someone to exhibit this frighteningly impressive ability!
Is there someone in particular that has made you feel super welcome and listened to you, coached you when you needed a bit of a cinfidence boost, or who made you feel validated and uplifted on the plaza and now you just want to give them a big, massive, digital hug?
Share the love here:- viewtopic.php?f=7&t=361
This is not the greatest thread in the world. No, this is just a tribute!

So I'm thinking it's about time to resurrect/rework some of the characters I was developing at the end of my time on OldPlaza, and one of them is warg/werewolf (the distinction is fuzzy, at best). Taking a peek through the Army thread header and seeing there's accounting for the less humanoid options in there, in certain roles. But the cavalry's awfully constrained about how it's the riders. Can we work with that? How do we work with that? Are we still in the stages where we're largely pantsing it and I can ignore anything I want?

Sure, go ahead and ignore it lol, but you best make damn sure to let others know if they can ride you or not!
