I am indeed Aranruth.
I do wish Tolkien had told us who crafted it, as I could easily see it being crafted by a dwarf of Belegost or Nogrod, or instead being one of Eol's blades.
Regarding its location, given that I believe it went with Ar-Pharazon, good luck getting access to it, but it is not noted as destroyed.
