@Arnyn Hey! So sorry for the delay, my writing muse took a dive these past few weeks but I finally wrote that chapter if you're still interested to jump in? I have it so that your character would already be boarded and lodged when they arrive to grab Abrazimir, whom you can meet aboard the ship and he can inform you about the mission. If you are still interested that is. And of course, open for anyone else who wants to do a little sabotage.

This week has been an incredibly busy one for me, so I haven't had time for more than a few quick glances at posts. Hope you are all well!

This may be an odd question, and this might not be the best place for it, but heck it came to mind and I've been mulling on it for a while... Not sure if everyone managed to follow what's going on in Rohan with their firefighting efforts to save Edoras from burning, but I was wondering would Gondor as a kingdom hava an official response/aid program/something or other sincw Rohan is our closest ally? I know individual PC are helping, but would we have a Kingdom wide response? Coordinated with Rohan of course.

Sorry if this makes 0 sense/you haven't really thought about it... It came to mind after reading some history books in preparation for a PhD thesis I was planning to do... Please ignore if I sound a bit erm eccentric

For fires? No you wouldn't have Rohan help out with that, as the place would have burned down by the time they arrive :P Anything else, it might be worth asking in lore as there might be a mention of it in the books.

It’s not entirely eccentric @Nessa Saelind. I kind of half-joked about it in the Marketplace ooc too.

And because I lurk, I kind of spied a letter in the Rohirric mail thread, that a messenger was intending to come and ask Gondor’s king for aid ? The Rohirric-Gondorian alliance may have been designed around military support, but I figure, if they’re not to proud to ask, then it can’t hurt to answer. Though if we need to vote or debate about it, the answer could take a while.

Dont see the need to debate it, if you want to RP helping out in Rohan, go for it <3 There is precendence so not like it's a big deal if you do and would make sense that they would remain allies and help each other out in times of need, as so many died during the war. Just keep in mind Rohan is about year 25 and MT is about 5 :P

Disregarding our desires for eternal debates like we're the Roman Senate I was just curious if we would do this as an organised Kingdom-wide effort, or just individual PC RP-ing how private Gondorian citizens are organising to aid Gondor. Am I making any sense?

I don't really care much about years and just jump in and do stuff. Pele's there anyway, recovering from stabbing, but I figure it would be great if there was some sort of organised effort.

Given how many are active atm, I say do it individually, but say it is kingdom wide so all can jump in if they want to.

I was practising some Ercassie-esque lurking and spotted the discussion regarding the Rohirric fires and potential Gondorian aid; any and all people of Gondor are of course welcome to assist in the relief and rebuilding efforts, much of which could easily be covered in the recently opened Montage thread with minimal RP commitment.

I appreciate that you may be waiting for an IC invitation from @Calimir's dispatch rider PC but I thought I would provide another OOC one also.

Additionally, if anyone should be looking to employ an arson specialist and inferno-co-ordinator to bring perilous fires and opportunities for heroism to *your* kingdom then look no further! (wiggles eyebrows suggestively)

Hey everyone! So the member of the month voting is nearly up and there haven’t been many votes. I would like to implore you all to take a quick 5 minutes to do so. Even if you are not active, I still implore you to take the time and vote. You don’t need to have been super active the last month to stop by and tell the admins who you think is the coolest or the best or your favorite writer. Why am I so invested you ask ( okay you didn’t but I’m gonna say it anyway). I came up with the idea to let us, the non admin members of the Plaza pick someone special. I really want to see that idea succeed because it can help draw us together more as a group and can say to someone that we as a whole enjoy their work and their company. We’ve got a few more days, and you all have 5 minutes to push the envelope button on the bottom of the page.

I’m also just posting this in the OOC threads because it’s not an announcement so much as it’s a plea to engage with.

I would presume they have met once or twice. Abrazi's been in the army for a handful of years so it's not unlikely they would have crossed paths before. I'm all for any previous history they might have add, on patrols or other garrison duties and the like.

@Lirimaer I posted my response in 2 parts because it made more sense to me The 1st part is in the Marketplace, and the 2nd one is at the reception of the Houses of Healing. I've been a bit absent from here in the past few days because of work stuff and I've been having migraines again (stress at work probably triggered that again), so I'm trying to minimise screen time off work. I know I owe a post to Windy and Frost at the Houses of Healing, and I hope I can finish that on Sunday *fingers crossed*. If I forgot someone or something let me know so I can put it on the to-do list :D

From my quiet lurking it seems that you are all set in early FA and the Rangers are mostly disbanded, yes? Any other important things I need to know to RP in your fine city?

Very early FA about 5 years ish into it, give or take whatever you need to make it fit :P Gondor still has Rangers, but they are more like out dealing with skirmishes and stuff like that. Tower Guards deal with crime in the city :)
