If anyone would like to join my two NPC healers in Emyn Arnen for a series of everyday life in a medieval Middle-Earth village/settlement in Ithilnen you're more than welcome. There's no fixed plot, it's more a series of connected everyday life things, because I'm trying to practice writing those. :-) Well, that was a rather longwinded way of saying you can come RP with me if you'd like

Don't worry about it Pele, you can jump in whenever you can if you want to. :-) I'm a slow writter, and I made my life easier by making the "plot" an exploration of everyday life in the 4th age. I don't see much excitement on the horizon

Fellow Gondorians, lend me your ears!

I'm helping Drifa sort out/update the Global Member Announcement thread and I made a list of active threads in Gondor in this post (We decided to exclude the Picture Threads, Post Offices, Announcement Threads and Character Submissions - because those are OK). Could someone please take a look and let me know if I managed to sort everything out? Does something need adding/removing/bleaching/being tossed into the bottom of the bottomless pit? Thanks a bunch!

@Nessa Saelind, did you want to include the Minas Tirith Marketplace as a link in that post/directory ? It is a draw for Gondorians and visitors alike, with opportunities of commerce/trade RP and/or apprenticeship/learning skills RP

And I still need to get back to posting there @Pele Alarion .

I fear I left my inspirational cheerleading troupe back at that contest in Rohan months ago !

@Ercassie - Yes, the Marketplace will definitely be included. Since the Marketplaces from all the Kingdoms were in a separate category, that looked updated I didn't include them in my post. I don't know if the next instalment of GMA we're going to keep them under a separate category or slot them in with the rest of the Kingdom threads/activities. Something that needs thinking :-) BTW the one Woman of a Certain Age™

Ah, I see @Nessa Saelind. It wasn't in the post you linked to, so I didn't realise.

What about the Library/Diary thread ? It's gotten a bit dusty recently but that's pretty authentic for the theme of course, and technically it is still open to all.

@Ercassie - no worries :-) I should have mentioned that I was not including some threads in the editing because they were already in a separate list and done. :-) Hmm, I was of two minds about the Library (similar thing with Rohan's Journal thread): on the one hand I wanted to include them, but on the other they haven't been active in a while...

I was thinking folks will stumble upon the Library by themselves when they decide to take permanent residence here

Just kidding, I'm open to suggestions about it :-)

Come and see Mordor's latest attraction: The Warg Pits. In the caves under the Morannon are housed the Warg Pits. The caverns are extensive and there is room for hundreds of the beasts. It's your one stop warg shop for breeding, training, fighting, and recovery. Be advised that while all are welcome, this thread is for minion characters only, whether trainer or warg; Any Free Persons who have ventured this far into Mordor had best be in HEAVY disguise: the Wargs have excellent noses...

Thread may be used for free-RP, or for a mini-game within the fighting pits. There will be periodic optional Events and RP prompts.

@Lailyn Ms Irma is of course lying, the amount the girls get is not enough to sustain anyone :P In fact that was the first thing Thea did when she got her wages back (yes she stole what was stolen from her) was to go and get a nice hot lunch as she had not eaten properly in days. She spent most of the first coin on that food, should be some money back from that and she should have the other coin on her.

As a result, half of the horses in the stables have made it out and are now having a party around Meduseld...

It’s YOUR job to round them up and lead them back to the stables and fields where they belong! (Or alternatively, steal them and herd them off to wherever you choose.)
