Guys, I'm back at school full time after ages away with COVID restrictions. I'm hoping my last year before uni goes uninterrupted, even if it means I'll have less Plaza time.

I'm also learning to drive and working at a restaurant three nights a week. Lucky Cal' is an errand-rider, so that will help explain him being absent sometimes

@Elarith Taeth has several things to do in the Riddermarket this thread, but since it looks like the jewelry commission is not quite ready to go yet, I'll save Golde ge Eorcanstan for last. Did Amethyst need to keep the original piece to copy (need to know for RP purposes)? Also, one of the things on Taeth's to-do list is to deliver the apron Elarith ordered for Slitan Bur. ;)

@Winddancer After Taeth finishes up with Lail, she has to take care of some last-minute business things at her shop with her cousin, and then she'll be heading to Se Hæland Æ. ;)

Don't listen to them, @Eléowyn! The Mark needs more children with horribly sad backstories so they can be player characters in the future!

@Dimcairien Luiniel Unfortunately, tragedies such as this do happen, in RL and fiction. Something similar happened just a week or two ago just a few miles from me. But it’s actually very hard to write (harder even than I thought it would be).

@Wamba_the_Fool Yes, Beda will be emerging from this as a far more complex character than she has been.

Perhaps there will be a miracle and the tree will wake up and save a little Rohirric baby.

@Aodh Hammerhelm Safe enough, I deem. Safer than in Almod’s arms at the moment, at the very least. Besides, the storm was brief, so though the river will be high and swift, that particular tree is far enough from the bank to be safe. So I have declared.

@Eléowyn ugh we had a similar incident happen here in my town this summer. It was such a frustrating tragedy. I'm with @Lailorn on this one. That tree needs to wake up and save the baby!

Léo, the baby, is safe for the moment, but he does need rescuing. As @Aodh Hammerhelm mentioned, he and I are off elsewhere and will not be along for a bit longer. So, that particular storyline is open for anyone who would like to join in the search and rescue of the babe. Oh, and he'll be needing a wet nurse as well.

And, by the way, the image of him hanging in a tree just hit me. I want to laugh, but I'll refrain. (Well, maybe not.)
