This thread that I am now typing in is the OOC for the competition thread. The OOC thread is where we can talk over, talk about, talk through, debate, chew over, consider, weigh up, thrash out, argue, dispute, moot, air, examine, explore, study, analyze, go into, scrutinize, review, treat, consider, tackle, deal with, hammer out, all issue concerning the NuPlaza competitions and themes.

The competition thread is where members can post their entries for the current competition. You may also comment, praise, and admire entries posted therein in that thread.

Now, my scaly friend. If that is the issue, I will remove these two lines from the rules.
Two entries per person. You can post in as many categories as you choose, but only two will be official entries.
It can be anything you consider art as long as you make it: drawings, photos, poems, short stories, etc.

I thought that you would have the rule of the OP (opening post) of the competition thread. But when posts ask to be moved around, one must take what the program can give. Thanks @Silky Gooseness!

Does deleting a thread cause a lot of cyber junk on the site, Sil? If not, and if it is not too much trouble, I would like to open a new OOC thread and have all the comments

I am already working on, picking up where I left with Wolf. The location is on the Hauptbahnhoff in Berlin, the day after leaving England by plane. The family must wait for the train to Chemnitz, and that takes little more than hour. Anything can happen... As a thief stealing three little eggs. Father is not with them. It is Wolf's mission to get his mom and sister safe to their estate near Chemnitz.

Chrys: How you like some eggs to be in your competition is up to you. If they are a metaphor for something else... can be made true also. This is not about me, but a new chance for all Plaza lovers to crack their art skills on a new challenge. Concept as Drifa posted looks nice to me.

I understand your (passionate) feelings about some matters and it is not wrong. But swindled I was not. Voters choose what they like and find good, but in the form of a participant or a judge, you have no power over. It has a positive side and a negative side. I don't feel sorry how it has turned out. Things happen as they are meant to be. Competition Four had a rightful winner. You won the Gold, I won the Silver. For myself it is not about winning, but just bringing a piece of story people hopefully enjoy.

Drifa: Excellent to separate the clutter from the game. Fabulous idea. Thanks for being our steady organiser.

Here are 3 plaza-riddle-eggs (credit: the Goose). They are yours. Inside are 3 M-e characters; only you know which ones. Your mission, should u choose to accept it, is to draw out these characters, revealing them outside the egg. You may do so by any means that does not break the egg. For example, by employment of visual signs on the eggs - letters (of any alphabet), queer signs, drawings - to indicate to others who care to look who is inside each of your 3 eggs. Tldr: put some patterns on the eggs! You may eat one of your eggs if you wish, but the plaza is not responsible for any cases of food-poisoning.

Deadline November 31st

Everyone will get to vote! Once we reach the deadline, I will create a poll, and you can vote on your favourite entry! Even you own ;)

Rules:
Your entry must be Tolkien-related.
Two entries per person.
It can be anything you consider art as long as you make it: drawings, photos, poems, short stories, etc.
It HAS to be YOUR work, no thieving folks!

I swear, though, that the 5th NuPlaza Art Competition thread has a curse on it. Maybe a DRAGON curse? I don't know how I did it yesterday, but I quoted the OP twice here: viewtopic.php?p=64857#p64857 and here: viewtopic.php?p=64858#p64858.

I could delete those two posts but couldn't, which I found strange because I posted them. Do you not have the option to delete when a post is quoted?
