I will post a letter and several categories. The game is to find an alliterative answer that fits one of the categories.
Example! The letter of the round is M. The categories are:
Member of the Fellowship
Hobbits
Geography
Person A posts “Member of the Fellowship: Merry”, earning 3 points.
Person B posts “Member of the Fellowship: Pippin”, because they didn't use alliteration they don’t earn a point.
Person C posts “Hobbits: Merry”, because someone already used that answer they don't get a point.
Person D posts “Geography: Mordor”, and they earn 3 points as first in the category.
Person E posts “Geography: Moria”, and earn 2 points as second in the category.
Person F posts “Geography: Menegroth”, and they earn 1 point, being third.
Person G posts “Geography: Mirkwood”, and they also earn 1 point.
Open to all
Multiple people can score in the same category, but the earlier post, the more points.
You can only post 1 answer per round.
A given answer is only valid once, regardless of whether it fits more categories.
All answers must begin with the letter of the round.
You may delete and post a new answer if you need to, as long as the round is open.
First to answer correctly in a category earns 3 points. Second earns 2 points. All others earn 1 point.
I will keep a running tally of points from round to round.
A round will usually conclude within 24 hours. A new round starts when I feel up to it.

The name of a Dwarf: Fundin
Ah, correct. Think I confused myself with two hobbit categories. Thanks for the correction.
The name of an Elf from Silmarillion: Fingon
Not that the Silmarillion is lacking in 'F' elf names, but would the Quenya form (or some other translation) of a name be counted as a valid entry? I assume shortened nicknames, aka Meriadoc and Merry, would not.

If the name appears in the Silmarillion, and it is an Elf, then language is irrelevant. Theoretically I would even accept something like "Strongbow", if the letter was S, as that can be considered a name for Beleg.
I consider a shortened nickname to be the same name as the full version. So the first person to say either Meriadoc or Merry would get point (using either form is fine). But if the first person said Meriadoc, and a second person said Merry, the second person would not get any points. I hope that's clear, else I can elaborate further.
