Hello and wow I can't believe the forum is still here. I was a lurker here ages ago when I needed someplace to dive into to escape reality. I could read around on the forums for hours when I needed to escape the dreary clutches of reality. I am very glad that the forum is still here. I hope that this time around I will be brave enough to actually participate here and there. See you round.

I may peek at discord soon. Currently I'm meandering around in the forums and threads and getting getting a feel for the place. it's been a very long time. Also, I remember now why I was a dedicated lurker back in the day. I was reading through some of the roleplays and the writers and writing is just so amazing. The brilliant writing was what kept me from participating before. I felt I could never write well enough to participate. I was content enough, though, to just wrap myself in the words and worlds of others. It was, and is, all so mesmerizing.

@Raythri Well I can at least speak for myself that I too feel that same way when I read some of the excellent RP and lore posts people make here. But don’t let that stop you from participating! We love posts of all shapes and sizes here

Hey gang, Eruedraith Linnod here. I used to be part of the Plaza back in day, Lothlorien. It was definitely sad to see what had happened to the Plaza, but honestly, it went the way of most online roleplaying forums. It brings such joy to my heart the work that Narv and many others have put into this place, its like seeing an old gang, and so many familiar names. I can't promise that I'll be super active, but I am working on adding my character to the Lothlorien list of characters and looking for a place to roleplay a bit.

I remember starting with the Plaza not too long before they got rid of the houses, I used to love that idea, it was so quaint to have little mini-boards where you could play with your small group of bunk mates, but man did the plaza explode around that time. I remember certain threads had to be recreated every day because they would immediately fill up. Anyway, hope to see you all around.

@Eruedraith I am not quite sure, but I think Windy is in charge of the Discord page. The links do expire after a time. Hopefully, @Winddancer will be able to set you up (or someone else with more knowledge than I).

Definitely hit me up on discord, I am on there all the time, and I am down to roleplay. I have two open RPs right now, in Lothlorien and Mordor, but if you want to RP elsewhere, let me know, we can always plan something or just wing it.

I was a member of the plaza some years ago, I was super young (8-9ish maybe). Middle-Earth was always a home-away-from-home type of place for me. So I look forward to discussing it with all of you!

Good day everyone! I believe the last time I was on this forum was around 2016. I just found out that the Plaza had been resurrected. Unfortunately, my old account is gone but I made a new one with the same username as before! :D Good to see everyone again and thanks Admins for bringing this site back and saving some of the archives. :)
