@Wamba_the_Fool  I like the three-eyed fish one, but I think I could probably actually work with the strangely-behaving bird. Although I think Sighard will be coming to get current news from Edoras as well, since he likes to stay holed up at the Aldburg.

@Eléowyn taking advantage of your story to be able to set up an entrance for one of my secondary characters. Don't worry about dropping clues that lead him to find a tragic scene along the river. He's got the fortitude to take it.

Hey all! Sorry for vanishing from the Infirmary and Throne Room without warning this week--we had our first official week of homeschool which came right on the tail end of me finishing another work deadline, so my brain was toast, and then over the weekend the girls and I all caught??? The stomach flu??? From I have literally no idea where??? I'll be trying to do catch up over the next couple days though, with the Infirmary as my priority

And in other news... I survived my first day back at work after over 5 months of being Furloughed despite all my new health issues.

Popping back in here to spend the remainder of my spoons on posts, and after reading up on the comments here I think I will refrain from reading up on the Beda-sibling-saga until I am feeling better braced for high drama and peril.

@Thalionwen Hunigfolm Hope you are feeling better now, stomach flu is the worst!

Welcome back. It must be weird being back at work after the long break. Yes, stay away from the Beda story, unless you're a masochist

Come one, come all, to the Hall of Judgement in Carn Dûm where murder has taken place, and more is to come if you don't help find the killer. This game + light RP is based on the party game "mafia" (also known as werewolf, assassin, or witch hunt), adjusted for the forum format. All are welcome, though non-minions better watch their step!

@Thalionwen Hunigfolm Ick, stomach flu is grim - had it right before a holiday, gave it to 4/6 of us including the 10 month old :headshake: Hope you're all better.

@Allacan ob Burzum You managed more than me, I went back yesterday and was wiped out on the evening! Blaming having to read all the risk assessments. And delete 1300 mostly irrelevant emails. Hope the rest of the week is easier for you.

@Amadhrill Am I waiting somewhere? Do you mean the Eallniwe Inn? If so, I'm not waiting, I'm relaxing in the lovely contented space of having one less thread I need to reply to and which remains for now 'up to date', so do not feel guilty for giving me less to rush and keep up with, a slower pace is much more preferential for me personally right now (cannot speak for anyone else, of course) :smiley17:

That's quite alright, freond-min. Ringbold needs a good rest (that's what the healer ordered! ) Ælfred is very much enjoying being off the road, in a welcoming home.

@anyone who wants to join me in some silliness - Arod has released a number of random horses from the hitching post in the Riddermarket. Feel free to join me in some equine silliness; just pick a horse and join the fun!

PS Allacan Edit I asked an admin to pin this thread because I thought that was the general consensus reached in the last one. I hope no-one minds, I was just struggling to find the useful OOC thread with the handy links on my phone.

@Eléowyn, @Aodh Hammerhelm, @Wamba_the_Fool - I'll do my best to get a Sighard post up tomorrow. This weekend was a doozy, sorry!

@Calimir sorry for Sighard's blunt rudeness. He's a bit of a jerk, I'll be honest. He's got some baggage that will hopefully get worked through at some point.

@Winddancer Gotcha. Thanks.

Also, I forgot to tag @Bereth in that post. She was helping out with Beda earlier. Maybe she would like to deal with a colicky baby.

Sorry for not being as active as I want on the threads, but RL... and tomorrow I am off for a little vacay, might have both more and less chances of writing from the cell, don't know. Or I might just prioritize rereading the Book again (haven't read it for at least a decade, now I am regretting not reading it more often.)

@Winddancer If you learn how to clone yourself, please pass along instructions! Your plan sounds good, but even if neither you nor Taethowen can make it in there to deal with things, Cal and I can just continue as if some unnamed assistant has come along to help. Fair warning: wee little Léo will need to be left behind in the capable hands of ... whoever ... as Beda has far too much to deal with at the moment, such as getting her mother buried, finding her missing siblings, and getting some medicine back to the Wildman on the Hill who found Léo. So good luck to whoever--that goat's milk didn't sit too well on the baby's tummy and he's very cranky. :googly:

I think... I am back. This illness really kicked my butt. Still not fully over it but at least to the level where I can do more than work and sleep. As a measure of how tired I've been anything that wasn't work or editing had to wait, including plaza, nanowrimo preparations and even embroidery. (have had a bunny in the frame for like three weeks now). But I THINK I have it beat or at least am on the winning side.
I will spend today reading up on what I missed and tomorrow go back to posting!!

@Eléowyn If no-one makes it to you by the time I get some time to myself to post, Old Mother Mute will happily take temporary custody of the wee one; she’s seen plenty of colicky babies in her time and will enjoy being useful!

@Eldrith Glad you are feeling better freond min. Take it easy and look forward to seeing your posts again.

@Eldrith - so glad to hear you're feeling better and hope it keeps up! *hugs*

@Amadhrill - no worries! :smooch: I want you to know I loved Tord's "Someone is trying to steal my horse!" What a great reaction. And don't worry about getting to the Dragon Room stuff. I can wrap-up if you don't want to come back to it but also more than happy to continue of course!

I am sad to say I will probably be a bit slower from now on, too. October is a looming explosion of deadlines I'm currently trying to wrap my head around.

Greetings good Riders of Rohan! I had these banners in an old Regions folder. I think there was a contest at one point. You may use them or not, of course. I just thought it was a shame to delete them before I shared them. Thanks! *bows low*

@Amadhrill I'm super impressed by anyone who can manage to post on mobile! As far as the Cav Courtyard, I'm happy to but there is a rule in the OP that its for "Cavalry trainees and members only" so I am unsure (maybe one of our lovely Marshals @Taethowen @Shivased @Gwai could chime in and let us know). also hope you enjoy the vacay!

@Lail Is this about the honey delivery? If so, since you're 'there' on official Cav business and will be escorted by one of the hælends, I don't think it'll be an issue. :winkkiss:

Aye-so! I'll kick the voting off with my choice... They're all great, but I'm quite partial to the THIRD PIC.

I like the first pic best myself. The other two are a but busy with all the different words and shapes overlapping and my eyes twitch a little (but that could also be the migraine I'm currently fighting.)

I'm partial to the first one as well. The other two are nice (and I really like the silhouette feel), but the overlap of the "Welcome to the Riddermark" with the locations on the map is a bit too much.

@Taethowen yes for the honey delivery! (ooh but now I know an "in" to infiltrate the Cavalry... ) Thank you and @Shivased for the ok.

@Amadhrill looks like I have the all clear to post in the Courtyard at least under supervision.

While I love the banners I I'm with @Wamba_the_Fool I like that Rohan doesn't have a banner. Less scrolling for me to get the actual content but my opinion maybe shouldn't count for much as faux-Rider.
