Admin Elections: Questions & Discussions Go Here

Welcome to what we know you all just can’t get enough of, more elections!
This will work similarly to last time, for those of you who were around 6 months ago when our previous team was elected. For those of you who didn’t participate, or can’t remember, here’s a quick reminder of how this will work.
NOMINATIONS: 1-5 DEC (aka now!)
You can make UP TO FOUR NOMINATIONS, but you can make fewer if you wish. Please email your nominations to lotrplazaelection [at] gmail.com, using the form at the bottom of this post. That's a private email that only Narv has access to. Don't post your nominations here - I won't delete them, but you'll look a lil silly.
I am still kinda needed for tech reasons, so I'll be hanging around undemocratically for now. Other than that however, the current admin team will not receive automatic nominations. If you want them to stick around, by all means renominate; if you’d like fresh faces, nominate someone new. You may also nominate yourself and are encouraged to do so if you feel up for it! Only Narv will see your emails.
You may also express any other thoughts you have about your chosen nominees, or other potential nominees, or me, or anything, in confidence.
CANDIDATES, 5-7 DEC
Once we have the nominations in, Narv will approach the candidates and ask if they want to accept a nomination to run for admin. If so they’ll be asked to give a short paragraph about themselves which will posted in a thread for members to see.
VOTING, 7-12 DEC
You get to vote! It will operate similarly to last time: you’ll be able to cast four votes. Your top choice will get 4 points, your second 3, your third 2 and your last choice will get 1 point. The points will all be tallied up and the top three choices will become admins. As before, Narv will also have the option to pick a Narv’s Choice as a fourth admin to ensure we have a fully balanced team. We expect there to be 5 admins again (including Narv).
TRANSITION
12 DEC- 1 JAN
We’ll welcome our new admin team! Our old admin team will doff their icons, but retain admin powers until January to show the new team where we keep all the hammers.

NOTE that this is a kinda relaxed sorta Plaza and the timeline may be adjusted to reflect that, for instance if I have a hard time tracking all the nominees down. I won't extend things too much though as I don't wanna be counting votes on Christmas or anything like that.
