Notifications seem to not be consistent? I was mentioned somewhere and got one, but mentioned elsewhere and did not get one, I just happened to be reading the thread and see the mention

From what I can tell so far: as soon as you load a thread, all your notifications from that thread are immediately "Marked as Read" so you won't see the little red number. It's a little awkward since you might not see the occasional notification from a previous page, or if you were already looking at that thread, or something like that -- unless you open up all your notifications and look through the most recent ones. I think that might explain the apparent inconsistency, though if you're seeing it in other situations let me know..

Great idea, Winddancer, oh I mean @Winddancer ! Great to see you again, by the way! Or even a lighter color at the end of the post. I like the idea of mentioning or being mentioned, because isn't it awful if you forget to check your posts, or you have a gazillion posts going (like many of us used to do) and realize you've been "ignoring" someone.
