Oath of the Cavalry

If you are here that means you have completed your training and your Trainer has given you permission to be here. Read the Oath carefully and then read it again. If you are ready to swear then by all means do so. Please write it out. It will have more meaning for you that way.

I, (insert name here), take this oath; that I shall be loyal to my country, and not engage myself in the armies of any other country in Middle-Earth, be they friend or foe. I shall be honorable and just in war, slaying only those I am commanded to, and never raise sword against my fellow Rohirrim. I do swear to respect those above me, following any command given without question. By saying this I bind myself to the order of the Cavalry of Rohan, and do avow to do my utmost best in keeping this oath.
