EDORAS IS BURNING!

The capital city of the Riddermark has recently been unfortunate enough to suffer mishap and arson. A number of conspiracies and gatherings have inconveniently come to fruition in a single night. While some have taken to the bed and others engage in late night revelries, the city of Edoras is roused as no less than three separate locations in Edoras are suddenly consumed by flame.

Will you join the rescue efforts as citizens and visitors alike unite to save the city from the inferno?

Bloody Barges

The Gulf of Umbar, that finger of the Bay of Belfalas nearly surrounded by the land of the Haven, is a busy body of water at the best of times. At the worst, it becomes a veritable chaos of ships, boats, barges, and rafts, all trying to occupy the same space and move about without crashing into one another. Such is the case today, only this time, everyone has gotten fed up with the situation. And, as every craft in Umbar runs heavily armed, there can be only one solution: sink each other until the water is clear!

He's hiding his loot around the Haunted Mansion, burying it in abandoned rooms and even conspiring with the resident ghosts. Can you recover the pumpkins and get them back to Jack in time? Or will Halloween Town face a decorating catastrophe?

Hobbits, Big Folk, all and sundry! Farmer Maggot has inspected a patch of common ground in Hobbiton and pronounced it absolutely perfect for growing food, fruit and flowers of all sorts - and perhaps even mushrooms! But which will flourish best in such earth? Farmer Maggot has a huge collection of mushroom spores - and some other mysterious seeds and cuttings as well - but alas, he’s not very organised and he can’t be sure which is which. Time for us good hobbits (and other folk) to get out there and experiment.

Come help Farmer Maggot plant his mystery crop (and crops of your own), and see who will have the most productive growing season! There will be special prizes along the way, a tasting session to see whose crop is most delicious, and prizes for the largest veg! Watch out for weather and other events- you never know what might happen. All are welcome, though minions should be at least semi-plausibly disguised and behave themselves!

I got lazy and asked for help in the OOC threads. I am not sure I want to make the decision on whether or not the kingdoms want a thread in the global announcements or not, seeing as a lot of them are not active. If no one response to my request, I will go from there.

I think your idea is the better option, and easier to sort out in the end. :-) That way we have all activities sorted by Kingdoms (as they're already are) and just post what type or category the thread falls under so folks can get the gist of it before opening the link.
