IK Racing - Imladris and Lothlorien Questions

Okay my elves of varying homelands if you haven't seen I am bringing back IK racing it's going to have a SLIGHTLY different format than it did previously!

You can go HERE To vote on your prefered schedule for the season and get the basics of how it will work.

THE big questions for you is what colours and animals do you want

Imladris was previously Golden Yellow (#FFBF00)with Cheetahs. as your colour was 'orange' I am also okay with giving you THIS colour which was closer to the valinor racing colour of old as we will not have a valinor team. Rohan may come here and fight you for it I'm okay with that it'll be hilarious.

Lothlorien was Previously a LIGHT Blue this is the closest I think I'm going to get for you on this one (#00BFFF) And were FOXES

Rivendell Elves DO you want to keep cheetahs or change them (sadly unless Rohan decides to change animals they were originally Raccoons and get first dibs at them) AND do you want to change colours from Yellow to a different colour. Colours that are off the table because I like to not strain my eyes more than necessary are the first white to yellow row It's just a no. The blues above it I can see easily enough but for older members I would suggest not useing those


Lothlorien Elves Same question goes for you, do you want to race with foxes still and use the same colour (it is the top right corner of the second square) or would you like to change it. AGAIN. The white to bright yellow row is a hard no just because those hurt my eyes... I can do it but it's not a good or fun time. The row immediately above that is doable for me... but again I suggest not that row for older members. Please let me know


And LOTHLORIEN ELVES - Please be aware that Imladris will host 2 different races during the season one for the Imladris elves and one for the Lothlorien elves, with lots of Blue and tall trees etc. So please don't think that you won't get your own 'home race' You are also welcome to let me know that if you want to move to a different kingdom primarily as your home base (like Rohan) your home race will follow you there just as the Wizards are currently in Fangorn). Should you get your own home kingdom obviously your race will follow you there.


AND again you don't need to sign up and call what races you'll be at, you just need to show up to the races themselves and participate.

Thanks for building interest in IK racing, Fuin! I would like a change of both animal and color for the Imladris racing, mostly just for the sake of doing something new for fun. Could we have a shade of green, please, perhaps this one (Note...I'm color blind and I'm not sure if you remember that about me...so if this is not green...pardon my mistake....): #008000 to symbolize the verdant beauty of the valley. I would like to nominate a squirrel as Rivendell's racing animal.

I'm totally fine with both the Lorien color and the fox. I will use Aig for Rivendell and Nenmallen for Lórien. I'll go back and forth per month.

So There is a wee issue with 008000 (It is 100% a nice green) and the Squirrel.

Those both belong to Fangorn for the moment! (and unless they state otherwise so far that is what they will keep)

MAY I interest you in Hedgehog and Colour 408080 it is a lovely teal green (so blue green) and is not in use by any other kingdom currently

I love teal, it's beautiful ! Hedgehogs are adorable so I would gladly have one to race, yes !

Okay guys time for a new task for Imlardis and Lothloriens racers (might even give yourselves a bit of a leg up with this)

I invite you to help come up with questions for B rolls (we are making the switch to A/B rolls to keep that from getting confusing)

They need to be generic enough any racer can deal with them, but you are welcome to include bits of lore, or mention other activities in either Imladris or Lothlorien. I shall then shuffle them all into my Google Document for IK racing.

Our next race will likely be January with the start of the IK racing season. (Simply because I don't want to run another test in December as I don't see it being very well attended)
