Some of you will notice that a few names that were sent in don't appear below -- those folks have decided to sit this term out, but please feel free to nominate them in the future if you like, as you never know when circumstances might change!
Please leave this thread just for the nominees to post their blurbs. I'll leave the other election thread open, so please feel free to direct any questions / comments / whatever over that way.

Blurb: Well hello again! As I've said before, it has been my privilege to serve this community as an admin: in the super active times, in the slower times, and in the omg-did-the-plaza-just-disappear times (hopefully no more of those!). Although like many of the rest of us my activity has been lower lately, I've still had time to fulfill admin duties, and expect that availability to persist! It would be my honor to continue in my role as admin if you the people agree that I should, and of course, no matter the outcome of this election I will do my utmost to ensure a smooth transition to the next team.

Timezone: GMT - though my new job has varying hours so I will be on at different times, covering anything from 5am to 2ish am.
Blurb: This time I was unsure whether I would run or not, however when I saw that Narv was going to be removing himself I felt a need to. I feel very strongly about ensuring that we do not have a repeat of OP. I still wholeheartedly believe admins should be in the background, that they should just be dealing with the behind the scenes stuff and everything else should be in the hands of the members, via votes. This site should be OURS (as in ALL members). As always I will work towards ensuring that remains the same as I love our little democracy :D . Apart from that, you know me by now so I won't bore you with a long blurb :P Here's to keeping NewNuPlaza going! <3

Timezone: CST (-6) However I tend to be active online froma bout 12pm to about 3 am unless I"m busy at work
Blurb: With the dropping of the admin team to 3 members (and Narv stepping aside from the general running) I stand very much with Windy in that site admins should stay in the background in terms of the actual running of the site, and that their main function should be to be present so that it is easy for member to get a hold of them and to implement the changes and requests of the membership. I am excited to see NuPlaza in it's next stages as it seems to be settling into it's pace now that we are (hopefully permanently) past the lockdown portion of this pandemic and life is returning to some level of normalcy.

*fingers crossed* For those of you who don't know me (by this point) I have a weird sense of humour (who doesn't right?) and in my admin term (despite bearing the mantle of Fool of a Took) I did not manage to wake a Cave Troll or a Balrog or kill Gandalf and if anyone says that the Plaza breaking down was because Pippin threw a rusty bucket down a well... That is a downright lie and I'll be seeing you in court!

OK, weird intro over, this is the (real) blurb: Dear all, if by some miracle you elect me to be admin again I promise to do my utmost best to sneakily spread glitter around for great posts, be there whenever the members need an admin to do something and generally follow the established admin protocol of the NuPlaza (that Windy so elegantly explained).
