As you lie curled up beside a warm fire, April rain falling—pitter-pat patter-pit—on the roof top of your cosy abode, you hear another sound at the window. It is a tapping—tick tick tick —that grows insistanly louder. You open one eye, then the other, and gaze lazily at the window. Your whiskers twitch as you see the tip of an axe behind the tapping. You know your recent activities (chasing rodents, squirrels and moles through the forest) are being challenged. You arch your back and hissssss as a figure appears in the window.
