Plaza Mobile v.0.0.0 has been getting RAVE reviews other than the fact that it sucks in some important ways.

While I work on that (which might take a while), Sil asked me to post this important tip: for her, at least, editing and quoting posts on mobile IS possible, if you rotate your phone to get it into landscape view (i.e. the icons to quote/edit should appear if you do that). Don't know if it will work for everyone, but it might help some of you! Of not, I promise I will not judge you for your hilarious typos etc.

That also works for me on mobile Chrome and Samsung Internet. *Thumbs-up emoticon*

Edit: didn't realise the old emoticons were there now! :smiley22: :smiley8: :smiley20:

You can also quote on mobile if you use full editor and preview
Edit: for me, i have to make sure desktop setting is checked on mobile

Sadly doesn't work for me (Huawei Android) but I am now on my computer so have found my edit button that way! :)

Hello mobile pals: Do you see buttons now? If so, do the buttons break anything else?

From what I can see, if you have a long rank title (like me) your name bar will get a bit wonky, which is why the buttons were auto-hiding on small screens to begin with. But if the extra function is more helpful than the (possibly) ugly form, I'll leave the buttons

Speaking of squished, it is dangerous to have the report button next to the quote button! Just sayin'!

apparently only for you winddy :smiley15:

but actually if there's a button order that would be easier to use lemme know how you'd prefer, that's a trivial thing to change

Yea, but it might be a lot! :P

Nothing specific, other than far from the others :P

I can report and quote (screen in either direction), but not edit. This is on Chrome, Xyperia Compact. Maybe it's just because it's a relatively small phone?

@Aerlinn This one has stumped me so far I have to confess. I don't see any particular reason in the code why you'd see quote & report but not edit on your own posts... not to say there isn't a reason, just that I couldn't find it yet. Have you tried it on a computer to see if you get the edit button there? Just to make sure it's not a weird permission issue with your account.

..........my head must be stuffed full of lock-down marshmallows and popcorn bags. I can see the edit button just fine on my phone now, and I suspect it's because I was previously looking at someone else's post, not because you changed anything in the last few hours. Pay no attention to the delirious elf mucking up your thread...just going to totter on over to OoME...
