That's the answer. When I restarted I didn't want to fly into things. I've just always managed the pub as being part of whatever timeline Rohan is.
I keep it at an undetermined day so everyone can fit in their character easily. In general, the season is 'autumn'. What year... I am not sure if Rohan has set a specific year, but if there is none I would say, consider Ting Gondor is relatively active roleplay wise it would be 'the same timeframe' so that it's easier for people to go back and forth.
So "a few years after the war" (the one at the end of the trilogy, because world building wise there are many), is the 'general' timeframe.

I assumed it is somewhere in the Fourth Age, qua timeline, or so my thought and starting point was. Good to know it is not definite set. The end of the Third Age, after the war, is also good with me. I don't mind it's left open. Easier to just start and not worry about a certain day or time.

Gondor is, in general, right around the beginning of the 4th age, but some stories might be set before or after that point. Most of mine are kinda set between year 1 and 2, depending on the month.

But in the evening I have all the time. I have been busy with the precreation of Christmas decorations. When it is hits November, I'll get the tree down to bring light in the living room as it is dark around 6pm, to colour it up.

I've been considering that as well. We used to write 'red posts' with both IC observations and OOC instructions in the old pubs. For example: "A drunk Donkey runs into the pub, upsetting tables left and right." It kind of injected fun things.. Mmm.. considers both a new day post and a drunk Donkey for future use.

Hey everyone, we are expecting a big winter storm this weekend where I live, in the US South where there is no infrastructure for this. Conveniently, this Sunday is also when a bunch of first tests and assignments are due for college. I am going to buckle down very hard the next two days to get them done BEFORE the storm hits (hopefully). That would mean I'd be back this weekend, unless of course the internet is out etc, and then you will see me again on Monday or Tuesday. (Stupid arctic storm)

Hey everyone! Dipping my toes back into RP, because my real life is a mess and quite frankly I need the distraction and also a productive thing to do with my time that isn't just sitting on my couch being sad with the same show playing in the background.

Is there anyone currently RPing anywhere that I could slip my character Merewyn into? Whether it's an established plot or a new one, I think it'd be easier and I'd be more motivated to post if I was RPing along with someone else here in Rohan.

Hey all, we've had a shortage of staff in my office department due to surgeries and sickness since November so I am working extra on my days off each week now.
I cannot be as much online as I wish too, and on top of that there's other real life business that needs to come first when I actually have some time off.

Eamila: What are your plans for your character in the inn? Does she stay now and help out? Or would she come with Quennar for a visit to Fangorn forest? I did read the suggestion in Eldrith's post, but yours was socially engaging to the situation. My loremaster cannot help with that at all. Let me know what you want, I know where to move on with Quennar. He is now a bit in limbo. Therefore I came up with another character. Oh and good luck with all RL things!
