Drifa: I don't know if it would be good. If it is in the spirit how Hunt for Gollum is and the three existing movies, it could be alright. If it ventures in what Disney conjured, it will be crap. That is my view on it.

I think we all know how I feel by now about milking the cash cow. However, it's pretty cool for Colbert.

I have a weakness for Colbert. I think he has the right soul and love for the material to do it. The question then remains, does he have the skill? This is something that I think will be either 'meh' or amazing!! The trilogy by PJ to me was incredibly well done as a movie (except the third movie theatrical edition), but there were several times where I feel like they missed part of the soul. (the changes to Faramir, etc). I think Colbert might catch that, or fight for it... but being a script writer is a craft in and of itself,..
