Just spreading the word, I was going through my old photobucket, and I saw I had boards from the old Word Sleuth games. And from the few games I officiated, I have all 26 letter tiles too. I have made a blank tile as well, just because.

Reading over your background, too @Lirimaer ! Making me wanna ask Ercassie if she wants to reestablish the Library of Rivendell at some point. Do you want me to stay what the rooms you like or would you enjoy the freedom?
I'm making a Rivendell Archives thread sometime tonight. That will contain guild-related or army-related information, linked to OP of relevant threads. Threadrunners or leaders will be able to utilize the archives. Quill will use it to display some vital data concerning Adab Nestad.
Aerlinn might find that helpful, Turin, thank you!

No prob Aig. I posted it in Gondor, but I figured everyone would want it, so I spammed the post to each kingdom (bad me). Don't know if they'll be put to use at all, but wanted to spread it for just in case.

@Aigronding Mordagnir I'd like a room with a window out to climbable trees - but that's the extent of my requests and knowledge of the future so far!
I am going to be doing some history things, but it doesn't matter to me which thread it's in - if there's a library thread, I will surely use it though - at some stage ... not promising great quantities, as I'm back to work this week and that'll curtail my writing.

Figured I should reintroduce myself here. When I first joined the plaza back in '03, I joined Rivvy, so I figured that when the new plaza started I'd rejoin up at my original home, here. Still a giant soft spot for Gondor, though, as it was my last home.

I appreciate you being neighborly as Talon Karrde would say, Turin!
Lirimaer, I've posted for you and Luthien! A bit of seriousness and a bit of fun! Got yourself trees to climb, Lirimaer, and you can use the library within Elrond's house for the present! Cassie
, I'll be posting as Tharmaras and our NPC son today in the Last Homely House for you! I would now but it's 4:31 AM for me... This vampire needs sleep.
Word Sleuth as well as Apples to Apples can be played here, Dimmy!
Arothir, good to see you back! I think you were a royal librarian in Gondor. Enjoy your fun here in Imladris, glad to have you! :D

Not sure I would have the time to commit to the library thread this time around,

I was tempted toward Nariel picking up her Adab Nestad training, but I shall have to see how much free time I can play with first. :smiley10:

The Imladris Forum Archives thread is posted, Quill
! You can begin putting the hospital-related posts there in as many posts as you feel necessary.
Folks, I'll be there sometime this week for matters concerning the Lindon Dwarves, the Elven Host, the Rangers of the North, and the Bree Foresters. Hopefully we can get a market going centered in Bree where Elves, Dwarves, Hobbits, and Mortals from near and far can buy & sell; I could list shops there that people can make, including myself.

Erestor shall always be around to take care of guest needs :D and don't be surprised if he tentatively disrupts your reading & writing to see if you need more ink, food, or tea :smiley10: ! I'm writing another post there now for Cassie but I'll have Erestor in it too so you can get that hot water, Lirimaer. Bathing is required after long journeys.

Just wanted to drop a quick word to anyone in here and say that I've just created a new character (Brôgiaur) who is a grizzly bear (literally just a grizzly bear) and he is free to use by anyone who feels an RP would be enhanced by the presence of a large and furry but dangerous animal.

Hello hello, I think the last time I played in Rivendell was about 15 years ago and it was not pretty
I've been thinking hard-ish about a character to play in Rivendell and I'm gonna drop the bio I've come up with in the character thread. As I haven't roleplayed in a
very long time and something about it doesn't look right, just let me know. :smiley8:

I was patient, Liri, now back to posting! I'll be at the Last Homely House again soon for you and Cassie.
I'll be there as Annamiri and Aewrusca soon, Quill! I might have a patient for you, too, which will foreshadow the Elven Host HQ or its forthcoming RPG.
Animals are alwasy welcome, Frost! I play several.
The bio is perfect, Aethelu! I hope you'll be joining the Elven Host when I make it this week.
Let's keep growing strong, folks. I'm proud of the work we've done here.

@Aigronding Mordagnir - quick question - so is the Last Homely House RP still set in TA 3007 or did you change it to TA 3014? Just RP-ed there and want to make I have the right timeline in mind. Haha!

Hey, Sidra! By popular demand, I changed the year to TA 3014 instead of years before like I orginally planned. It seems that in the Imladris Forum, people would like this place to be Third Age instead of the Fourth like in the forums of Gondor and Rohan. I suppose that's a good thing, that there's a kingdom which is still set in the era Tolkien depicted The Lord of the Rings in.
I have been thinking about the Fourth Age often since I RP the Third here in Imladris and the First/Second on the site Rivvy made which I've been active on since the old Plaza shut down https://lordoftherings.freeforums.net/ . I am going to make a Fourth Age Free RP here in the Imladris Forum for anyone who wants to play their characters of that era within Eriador; that might help members who are roleplaying in Gondor and Rohan now also; they might enjoy bringing their creations to Eriador based on that setting. I know it'll be good for some of my NPCs, Rangers and Bree characters specifically, who would all be living in the reestablished Arnor of King Elessar's Reunited Realm.
So yeah. That's on my list of what few more threads I'll be making here this week but for now, Sidra, just know it's TA 3014 everywhere here in Imladris Forum. I'll RP there again for you, Liri, and Anarie before Monday! Long shifts six days in a row this week but when I'm home, I've been working on editing the next part of Aig's bio, making my NPC Beren's bio in Gondor, and two posts there to get him situated before taking care of more threads here.

I'm a big First Age fan, Sidra, but I do love the Third. There's a lot to do in both eras. With the second, the most interesting stuff happens when Numenor sinks as well as people getting beaten up at Eregion and Mordor
.
There's a river, pools, and waterfalls here but that doesn't mean you bathe in public either, Sil
. You'll have to use a washbasin, tub, and pitchers. And soap, don't forget the soap
. We'll get you, right, sweetie. *Airien Mereniel, Aigronding's girly cousin who owns a spa in Rivendell, presents Sil with beautiful silken dresses, tugs a moonstone gold circlet over her head, and sprays her with black orchid perfume*

Is flashback RPing in Adab Nestad a possibility? As in, a few months ago before my Ranger character gets to Osdolen? If not, I can try and just write up what I need to have happened.

Dimmy I'm not sure if Quill has seen your post yet but it would be fine by me if you used a flashback RP'ing style for your own Adab Nestad posts. Just include somewhere in your post that it's not the modern day. You can work with a member RP'ing a healer or you may use an NPC of your own; let us know here!
Ooooo, I can GM a fun makeover thread
! MY NPC Airien has a spa and cosmetics guild (cosmetics have been used for thousands of years in a variety of ways so, yay!) in Linyamaril, the manor of Aigronding's family, in Rivendell where it could take place. There could be contestants, too! I'll put it on my To Do List, Sil
! I can have help with it, too, if any ladies would like to assist.
Getting back to Imladris RP threads tomorrow on my day off, folks! I've had long hours of essential work six days in a row this week but I'm off for the next two days. I've just had time for Aig and Beren bios and writing for the Ranger thread in Gondor recently. Back to speed tomorrow!
