Upcoming Downtime: 15 March around 22:00 PST

Hi all, just a heads up that we'll be down for a little bit tomorrow evening (for me) - I figured I might as well give our new admins some freshly updated forum software to work with before I leave them to figure out what all their new buttons do. I tried to sneak it in quick this evening but as a couple poor unsuspecting souls on the discord discovered, it'll take a bit more time than I hoped -- but I'm still thinking no more than an hour or so.

So from around 22:00 Pacific Time on Tuesday (also known as some ungodly morning hour on Wednesday in Europe I think), the board will be either disabled or not showing up at all, depending on what stage we're at. So probably best to work on any huge posts off the site if you're planning any around then, unless of course you would like the extra piquancy of potential annihilation to add a sense of urgency to your prose.

Minus two points for letting the forum disable itself while I was asleep apparently....

Based on 'New posts' it looks like folks had access until about 5 hours ago, then my temporary board disabling kicked in again. Possibly a cache snafu, but in any case likely a good sign that it would be good to get our phpBB fully up to date. So the planned downtime mentioned here is still on unfortunately -- I'll be checking regularly today to make sure you all still have access til then, though.

Narv: No idea where you reside on the planet. But around 12:00 GMT today the server went out for an update. So I went shopping. Midday it was for me. I had little else to do.

See my post just above your first one -- the board went and disabled itself at that time, but unfortunately I was fast asleep and didn't update a thing :) So alas we'll still need to go down for a bit at the original 22:00 time for the *real* update. My apologies for the unnecessary disruptions.
